Welcome to Summer of the Arts
The Iowa Arts Festival , The Toyota-Scion of Iowa City Jazz Festival , The Friday Night Concert Series presented by the Iowa City Press Citizen, and The Saturday Night Free Movie Series joined together in 2005 under the umbrella organization Summer of the Arts. The tradition of providing FREE, FAMILY-FRIENDLY, FUN events continues! New for 2008 -- the Landlocked Film Festival joins the Summer of the Arts lineup in August! Summer of the Arts provides overall marketing and fund development support to strengthen these arts and culture events as they grow.
